Hiya Contender, Welcome to MFK!
I know there are at least a couple, at least from beautiful Thailand, don't remember which ones though. Do you keep any of the less common locals?
 
Thailand has a lot of fish that just don't get exported to the USA very often, some of the cyprinids and many of the loachs never seem to reach here, I was curious if you kept that kind of thing. Many years ago I saw some merchants selling market fish out of baskets on boats in some of the Klongs (sp?), Most of them I could not ID including a foot long slender banded loach of some kind, beautiful fish.

well, let me know what you mean, maybe i can find it.
i've loved fish all my life, but never really really got into , until now.

but i follow channa species though...


so, i'm stil looking for BKK MFK members, maybe we can start a BKK chapter or something? all my friends here are boxers and they;re not into fish.
 
I was thinking oF things like tiger botia, but I also like the tiny Akysis catfish. Next time you go fish shopping could you take pictures please?
