Banjar price

MD...but all my fish are in japan still..lol
Is 200 USD to pricey for a Banjar Red Arowana at about 12"? I know these are not the most popular arowana out there, but there is something about this one that i find captivating. They have him displayed next to a chili red and an RTG, but he was the only one that kept my attention.
 
Not certain what the aro price market is like in Japan?... hopefully somebody native there can confirm for you?

IMHO, if you like a particular fish as much as you described and are able to get it? I would get it? Nothing more heartbreaking (besides fish's death) than going back to the store to buy and discovering it has been sold... it's your call?!!... But aren't banjars abundant in your country?

You're right about the heartbread bro, went back today to go buy him and he was GONE!! haha.. was sold like an hour before i got there according to the worker. I just moved here recently so im not that familiar with the pricing of Aro's. Banjar's are fairly common, its just this one stood out.
Of course i didnt leave the store empty handed though.:naughty:

Sorry to hear that it was sold, islander! :( Yes, i have experienced this many times myself, unfortunately... but i'm certain you will come across another nabjar in time.

So, please share with us... what did you end up leaving the store with?!! :idea:

Thanks bro, I'll be posting pix up later on, im doing tank mainetence right now. Ended up getting the tiniest little NGT about 1.5-2 inches and mean as hell, and a potential short body GG, that particular store is a bit of a drive so i wasn't leaving empty handed..lol
