Banned Fish in WI

I was wondering if anybody knows what fish are banned to keep in aquariums in Wisconsin.

WI, doesn't appear to be on the list though. You might have to consult your state Fish & Game site and find it there.

Note that that link says restricted species list could not be found for the state or wisconsin. I think its on MFK somewhere though.

To start, no asian aros or snakeheads LOL.

I looked at both but couldn't find it, but I do know natives are banned without a permit.

pretty much the only ones NOT on the US list ( ie snakeheads, Clarias cats, and Asian Arrows for instance..) Are Piranhas in certain areas are restricted by counties. I'de consult your County regulations. Like here in Grafton.. Piranha are illegal to sell, not sure if that xfers over to own as well. But likely.

strange common carp aren't on that list, but black, silver and bighead carp are.
