Honestly I don't watch BET and was just flipping through and caught the "BET Hip-Hop Awards" for 2007 the other night..

Am I the only one who said "WTF?" when he held up the vick jersey and said among other things? this was the shocker:

If the Falcons don't love you, we still do!

And the crowd went nuts with applause..

Apparently the awards had numerous Michael Vick references supporting or making the morals/laws he broke seem more petty than they really are.

Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and honestly leaves me feeling bad things about hip-hop in general..

Yeah basically had some hand (although how much can be argued) in dog fighting..

Just makes me think no one cares about what he did, rather just proud of his skin color and the fact he played for ATL.. Kinda like everyone who applauded saying "oh you have no morals and fought some dogs, even aided in their death, it's cool no biggie I have low morals too besides you played for ATL..."

I know, just amazed at how many people see nothing wrong with him and will still applaud him for whatever reason it may be. Makes me think there are alot of really ignorant people out there who really see nothing wrong with it.

ViCK RULES. People have got far less punishments for worse crimes. I think the japanese dolphin slaughters should get more focus then a dogfighter.
