Barb Clipping...

I have been searching and can't find any information that tells me exactly how long it generally takes for a barb to grow back once its been properly clipped. Our rays got clipped months ago...roughly around November....and yet we still don't need to clip them. It this normal?

Yes, normal. Can take 6-8 months for them to grow back. What type of rays?

My rays came off 5 months ago and doesnt look like its grown back yet, but kind of hard to tell on her.
