a species of cyclocheilichthys, google it up and you'll see several images of it.
Thanks....do you know the exact species? I can't seem to find anything with such a long dorsal fin....

I think they are a Labiobarbus of somekind. Festivus or Lineatus maybe. Dorsal fin is completely wrong shape to be cyclocheilichthys. Cyclocheilichthys having very short dorsal compared to these fish whose dorsal goes almost all the way along their backs.

Here's a labiobarbus of mine (advertised as a Malaysian Silver shark, another name for the bala shark which they clearly aren't)

Cool fish but wrong forum! For future reference if a fish is not a shark or catfish and has an adipose fin, its safe to put in this forum. If not....well its not a characin. Of course there are a few obscure characins that dont have adipose fins such as some darter tetras but hey....

Why have a characin sub forum? and not a cyprinid one. Not everyone knows what a characin, cyprinid, goodeids etc are. All in all, not a particularly useful new sub forum IMO. the Piranha one was enough to go with Dats and Snakeheads, plus maybe a vampire tetras as they seem to be every where now.
