i norice that some jardini barbel get smaller as they get bigger, whys that. i seen a 12" jar at my lfs and the barbel was so small i could bearly see it. but i seen some bigger one with nice long barbel, any ideas?

I've heard that arow's will sometimes lose their barbells due to being in small tanks, from them rubbing and bumping the glass too much I suppose.

Yep, thats true.

Too small of a tank will rid your arowana of its beautiful barbles. I find that Jardini's have a thicker barbel at the 2ft mark when compared to other aro's at the same size.
