Hello. My Brother has a Ghost Shrimp and a Bamboo Shrimp in his 12 Gallon Eclipse Tank and he wants to put 6 Barb's in there. Will the Barb's eat the shrimp??? Thank-you.

by barbs in that size tank i would assume he is thinking of tigers? If so you should have no real problem. They can be nippy but the shrimp should be fast enough and if provided a few small hiding places should have no problem cohabiting
no, they wont work... barbs can and will snack on ghost shrimps, bamboo shrimps i have no idea on, as ive never had them before. but when i had ghosts with barbs ive alwas been left with just barbs and no shrimps. so IMO no they wont work, almost ALL fish will eat or kill shrimps ( depending on the type of shrimp you have that is. ) bamboo shirmps should be fine with barbs tho.
