Hey all,
So I am in the market for a new fish for my poly/asian tank. I'd like either a good clean up crew of fish like a species of barbs or a good algae/clean up such as a flagtail. I was going to go with a small shoal of odessa barbs but I'm worried about their size difference with the other inhabitants of the tank.

A run down of stock:
Polys (one massive delhezi, 13 inches when i measured last, yes i know big for the captive bred species, one koliba and one ornate, both of which are around 8 inches atm)

Syno cat (featherfin, roughly 8 inches with trailers on the tail)

2bushfish (give or take 5 inches?)

1 odoe pike (6ish inches, growing rapidly)

1 african brown knife (around 5 inches, also growing rapidly)

7 clown loaches, size irrelevant

My goal is a good pellet/tilapia clean up crew, as thats all this tank gets, shrimp on occasion as well, and I'd like to get the wasted food/algae if its possible under control a bit more. I'd like another shoaling fish but if anyone has any other suggestions for a fish from either of the 2 areas the rest of the stock hails from (africa/asia) I'm open.

tank size is 150 right now, they are moving into my 310 once my natives get too large and need a pool. (channel cat is getting massive for the tank, hes going to need way more water soon haha).

Like I said I'm open to every suggestion, but I'd prefer an african or asian fish. This is just a feeler thread to see some options I haven't thought of yet, Thanks MFK!!

Only barb I could come with is Tinfoil barb, but Odoe pike may not like them due to them being silver in color.

Yeah any of the smaller barbs in sure will be eaten.
