Last year I was over in Spain for a while. Whilst in Barcelona, my travel mate was happily checking out the historical (read: boring) sights...me on the other hand, was indulging the chance to see animals

Seals. The seal show was awesome! There were a couple of little pups that weren't involved in the show that constantly pestered the trainers and adult seals!

I'm in Australia and I know there's some in zoo's here so I'd be surprised if there wasn't some in the states. They had awesome brand new, indoor exhibits for them.

It'd sure be nice if we had one.America's first zoo and we don't even have elephants anymore....We have more statues and pictures than animals it seems.

The Komodo was definately one of my favourites. Fortunately I got to the zoo really early (before the gates were opened ) so I had the whole zoo to myself practically!
