Do you like it?

Did you leave the tank completely bare?
Should I paint the background/bottom black or just the bottom or background?

I don't paint the bottom but have a background for the back, my tanks are not for show, just grow outs for my pond, so I don't mind the reflection. I leave my tank completely bare except for PVC pipings for hiding places, bare tanks are easier to clean IMO. Hope this helped. :)

Incredible looking tank you have there O.O, I would paint the bottom if I were you, don't wanna have the sump showing through that beautiful tank. What are you planning to stock in that tank? :)
Exotics

Already have rtgg :)
Soon as its set up ill get a ray and red tailed cat fish

Once bare bottom... Always bare bottom. 100 % positive things.
Few thing's whay i like this style.
-Fish need space
-fish can't injure in barre tank
-water is crystal clear
-Waste is only in filter
-Less chance for any infection
-easy maintenance. Cleaning glass Etc....
-big fish don't need any deco. Predators don't hide.
-you can always see fish
