Barebottom with open stand

Hey i want to try going barebottom for a bit in between my sand change and i was wondering how it would look if my stand isnt solid on top. The top of the stand is made only with 2X4's and no sheet of plywood so there will be a hole which you may be able to see. Has anyone done a barebottom tank with this kind of stand?

I paint the bottoms of my tanks with a textured spray paint that looks like gravel. Takes care of the problem nicely.

I've done it on steal stands with no gravel or paint, the fish don't seem to mind.

my oscar dont care either lol my tank is set up the way ur think bout doing 2-4 stand and all mines a 75 gallon
