Barge species

Curious why no one keeps these. Some nice species I see are bagre bagre and bagre marinus, no super large pictures from fishermen seem to back up fishbases max reported size of 55cm or 22" for b. bagre and then b. marinus at 69 cm. They look like pangnasius of a much more manageable size with some much longer fin extensions.

They have a nice profile. Maybe availability keeps these from being homed. Maybe cost to keep almost full salt.

These are marine cats. The second one we catch here all the time. I freeze them and feed them to my fish.

There appear very few salt water keepers in this forum or on MFK altogether. Salties appear almost all into little colorful fishes, coral, anemones, etc., not into large fish or maybe it only seems that way. Now that I think about it, freshies are split probably the same way haha.

Didn't even catch that. And I feel like saltwater people are more into little colorful fish etc. so I agree.
