the other tank is a 90G that just has a claris cat in there but i will be gettin another claris soon

which tank if any would be best suited for him

Do you mean Bagarius bagarius ??? If so here we go it is commonly known as the Devil Catfish Bagarius are described as predatory fish quite unlike the other members of the family Sisoridae which tend to be omnivorous. And it gets big. It is also documented that this catfish when kept with fish bigger than itself it would eat their scales.;)

Tank very big.

bagarius bagarius should be in a tank alone they are evil hence the name devil cat.. they have nasty teeth that can do damage to anything of any size.. and will get pretty big not as big as a yarelli but still 36" I believe so to keep one for life i would say a footprint of 4'x8' and 2' depth should keep this fish happy....

There's no such catfish by that name. There are catfish of the genus Bagrus but, no species named B. bagrus. The ones I've heard of are:
Bagrus bajad, caeruleus, degeni, docmak, filamentosus, lubosicus, meridionalis, orientalis, ubangensis, and urostigma.

There are 4 recognized species in the genus Bagarius. Bagarius bagarius is the smallest at 8". Bagarius suchus tops out at about 28". Bagarius rutilus reaches ~38", and Bagarius yarelli reaches a ]V[onster length of 80".
