Barking knife fish?

So I read somewhere that African brown knifefish can bark? Has anyone heard their fish do this?

I have heard of it. It's courtship noises afaik. I have never heard my duo do it, but they are both males.

I'm going to try and breed these fish one day since it seems not really anyone has. One german keeper on another forum had them go into a much deeper colour and barking but no spawning was observed. These fish were fed live, frozen and prepped food and he believes that the seasonal temp changes he did induced the behaviour and colouration
