barking red tail?

My plecos always do that. Kinda freaked me out while moving my 17'' monster "pokee," among several others.

That's awesome. Can anyone get some video of this? Especially, you Necro. I mean I can't imagine how loud that would be given I've heard my plecos doing it and its so loud.

mine too my RTCXTSN does it when i come home from work and walk near the tank sometimes its really quite loud, but the biggest noise from a small tropical catfish is the spotted talking catfish (agamyxis pectinifrons) doradid species, they make the noiose by rotating the pectoral fins and the sound is made greater by the swimbladder, they are great aquarium hoovers too i have 1 in my discus tank and it grew wider than longer!!!

my RTC never does it, but my 11 inch TSN will bark like mad if you put your hand in the damn tank. lol, i love it. sometimes its really loud. i moved him not to long ago and it scared the **** outta me cause i didnt think it could be that damn LOUD!!!

Wish I could, but I don't have a video camera. I can borrow my neighbor's, but it will probably just turn into a feeding video. I usually have to pester him pretty bad to get him to "bark". You'll probably hear plenty of it when I finish my big tank. I plan on doing a video when moving all the fish to the new tank. Bound to be a barking fest!
