This guy was labeled as "green line barracuda". Im assuming its really a yellow tail barracuda? Any info on yellow tails (size, tankmates, food) cant find much online.

It's a yellow tail cuda. They are very hard to really ID between other individual cudas. But will get about a 12 inches in the aquarium if treated well. Usually will take live food. The fish will need to be trained to take prepared foods. Can tolerate most tankmates it can't swallow. If you got aggressive fish then it'll get bullied and die. They are easily stressed out.

I think it still needs a little time to grow before we're able to tell exactly what it is
however if I had to give a gander it right now I'd say its an Acestrorhynchus falcirostris

Insalinae does have a stripe down the body. It's also smaller in size.

Minimus doesn't have the black spot near the gill plate. This one does.

Can't really tell if it's microlepis. Gotta count scales for that. Plus falcirostris is more common. Probably not gonna count those scales on these small fish. But still a nice cuda.

It'll be treated the same as far as care.
