Barramundi question

Well, you have come to the right place to get info! 
I don't know everything but I can give you some advice.
When you first get one you should always get it to take pellets as they will end up costing you a fortune in feeders and when on a diet of pellets they grow much faster and are much more healthy.
They are mainly only aggressive to smaller fish.
Full grown for these guys is 6' & 130 lb so a pond is a must.
You could keep them in a 8x3x3 tank for quite a while as juveniles, but you would need to have a pond handy.
Their growth speeds depends on water temp, diet and how often they are fed.
Mine grew to 1' within in a couple of months then not long after were 2ft.

Are you absolutely sure you want one?
I reckon you're better off getting a Chinese Perch, or a peacock bass if you like perch-shaped fish.
Barramundi are in my mind, pretty damn boring. They don't do much most of the time, have no real colouration, and the only real enjoyment you get from them is when they eat. So you wind up with a dull fish with a big appetite, very little in terms of behaviour, huge growth rates, and a massive bioload.
I love catching them, but I can honestly think of quite a few more entertaining and better value aquarium fish.

I know you're only 13, so the 'cheap' price is appealling, but in my mind, you're better off saving up a little more and getting something that's more enjoyable and less of a burden (although, that's completely down to personal taste).
Chinese perch don't get quite as big, as the below link will state (70cm max). I can't comment on the aggression levels though, as I've never kept one myself.
