Thinking about getting one, how fast do they grow? i hear they max out at around 6ft. Whats the biggest one on mfk? how fast do they grow?
I plan on growing him out, untilll hes big enough to go in the 360 ( 6x4x2 )
john ptc got a big one. i have 2. 6x4x2 is not big enough for life.they max out at 6'8". you need to have either a pond, or a place to send your barra once it outgrows a 6x4x2.
If I remember right Johnptc's is 16" ish?(correct me if I'm wrong john?), Neoprodigy's is 22"-24" and mine is in between there.. I don't know for sure but venture to say Li's is the biggest one on MFK I know about?
I honestly don't know that you'll see 6ft in an aquarium setting unless you're talking a really old fish. But I would prepare for 3-4ft.
Just remember that big fish eat alot. Most of my shrimp consumption is because of my barramundi and were talking multiple pounds a week.
