barred midas and wild oscars in a 500?

I just got a 7'' male barred midas. I want to put him in my 500 gallon with my 2 wild oscars ( 8-10'') in that size of tank do you think they can coexist peacefully? or is this trial and error? or I am I headed to a huge failure?

You could get away with a lot more cichlids than that in 500g IMO

While I think there is a very good chance of it working out... I think this is the most responsible response thus far

I think it would work. Having said that, my Midas wants to kill my two cats anytime he sees them, but your tank is 5 times as big as mine. Trial and error for sure. Like its been said, always hope for the best but have a back up plan.

500 gallons sounds like more then enough room, so yes I think it could work.
