Barred Midas have babies

After not getting along, to having babies in a few weeks (but losing them as he would not let her near them), we have a second large batch, and now a strong pair bond - with no fighting. I've lost a few to the kribensis and synodontis in the tank (fine w/ me), but they appear to be doing well. The second pic shows what the male looked like 13 months ago - has come a long way. FYI - they are in a 135.

Absolutely amazing how much their colors and bars change, depending upon mood - fighting with the Yorkie is when he looks the best

Not sure location. Male came from Dan at COTA - female is Big Head lineage.
