Barred Midas

When do the Barred Midas start to get their bars and color up some. Mine is about 3 1/2 to 4 inches right now. I got him from COTA

Varies by fish, I f2 fry from my cota Midas and some of them have started to peel at less than an inch, while their mother didn’t begin to peel until well past 5”. Hang in there as I’m sure it’ll come in due time.
