Got up at 3 and left the house by 3 30. Got to Bashan around 4 30. We got up so early because we thought there would be a mob of people..... Just 3 boats.
We just sat around till 6 by then there where a dozen boat trolling for trout. My dad blew the horn at 6 to start opening day. He start casting and get a 10inch rainbow. Im trying to pick up some bass. We didnt get anything for a hour. We moved to the sunny side of the lake where it was warmer. I started throw my jerk point when I get a hit. Yes a bass finally o wait no a 10inch rainbow....
Threw the grub and got 2 perch around 11 inch and that was it. NO bass no pickeral. Going to Gardener tmw

I did today and got a 11inch SMB the thing took my jig down so far I had to cut the line. Didnt take the pic cuz I had him out of the water for a while. Dont want to stress him out to much

i havent had that much luck this year with big fish....just some babies...i think i need to get the canoe out..i did find a sweet spot today that some lady *****ed at me becuase it was supposedly private property but wateva i do wat i want...

I came back today and went right out again. For some carping. My brother was going for carp I was just messing around with the fly rod. He had one run but missed it and that was basically it for that place.

They are good to eat but im not going to take a 10inch trout.

Not big enough? Whats big for a Rainbow?... that is a rainbow trout right? I'd eat his ass!

Its a rainbow, And its all what u think is big. Me i think like 15 inch is good size. I like giveing the small once a chance
