Me and my dad got up at 4 45 to go hit Bashan. After about 40min of driving we get there and out spot is open... and the whole left side is open too. So we went to upper moodus and that was open in spots to so we didnt even try it. We drive all the way back to meriden and hit that puddle called Black Pond. We set up tip ups and my dad gets a good size pick. Then every just died for about 4 hours. I missed a few good hits jigging. Around 1 I started doing better jigging with a 11inch Perch and 6 sun fish mixed in.
