basic motoro ray

P/u a motoro ray from a friend, that does not want it. It was in a 55 gal. now in a 300 gal how can you tell the sex of a motoro ray at 7 in diameter or so and can you just feed it raw shrimp or gold fish?

look for clasps at the base of the tail, if you find em, its a male. and yes raw shrimp and goldfish would work. but keep a varied diet..goldfish lack the nutrients rays need

Go with black worms, shrimps, maybe silversides. Bloodworms and krill are also an option, as are pellets, but haven't done it myself yet.

Go on google images and look up claspers if the ray has those its a male. Try not feeding gold fish they arent very healthy and alot of times have diseases

Don't feed goldfish! They will cause a massive head ache later on when your ray gets fish lice or intestinal worms.

forget black worms and goldfish... black worms are a waste of money on a 7" ray... night crawlers pellets shrimps etc... add silver sides smelts clams cockles squid and what ever else you wanna feed
