i carry:

coppersafe, quick cure, aquarium salt and i have some pond declor even though our water has no chlorine or chloramines (well water kicks A)

I agree. Up here in the rural town I live in, we got some great well water also. no real need to dechlorinate the water, but I add a little stress coat/dechlo when i do WC's.

My essentials list-
aquarium salt
stress coat
pima/melafix

I, as well as many others, will strongly recommend a FW master testkit, and a tube of aquarium silicone in your fishy first aid kit

When needed- kick-ich and tank buddies anti parasite

tests for nitrite, nitrate, ph, etc. to make sure your water is in the correct parameters.
more of a preventive maintence than a treatment, but its better to stop disease before it can occur then have to treat for it...you will still get your occasional problems, just not as frequently.
