basilisk breeding

i have a female green basilisk right now and im getting a male common basilisk in soon but is it possibal for the two to mate?

I don't know, perhaps...but why would you want to? Why not get a male green basilisk?

male common basilisks have stripe like patterning and are brown,white,tan and i like their pattern
