After rereading that, I realize the first line sounded more sarcastic than it was meant too lol. I meant, hard to continue the species if he won't mate

Sorry, despite the two being different species, they are so close the male shouldn't have any problem mating with a female green.

Now as to the viability of the eggs, you'd have to see...
