how do u tell a male young basilisk from a female young basilisk?i would say size of mine includeing the tail is about just over a foot long and he or she is a green basilisk how do i id the gender of a green basilisk and a common basilisk?

No offense, but before I even purchase an animal I research it extensively. It seems like you lacked doing this, and rely on this site completely. As much as I love MFK, their reptile section isn't as popular and is slow in responses. It doesn't hurt to research yourself.

on uvb vs uva bulbs wats the difference should i get a uvb lights and if im not mistaken uvb lights also help live plants dont they?they need both UVA and UVB in order for them to metabolize correctly. this usually requires 2 different bulbs.
