Bass An HITH... I think

To day i over looked my bass and i can see 2 white puss thing coming out of his head... i thought hith but doesn't hith go inwards? they look like pimples. Cuz there is a red one as well. Im feeding him a mix of Cichlid pellets and Koi pellets. And some time carv pellets. Any help would be nice... i hope im just jumping on HITh and top i can get it under control i never had hith so im reading all about it now thanks.

I moved this over here cuz im not having any luck on the H/D page. I need to know fast. Doesnt Hith Take a long time to happen if his still under 12inch?
 
try acroflavin, dont know if thats spelled right but this is good stuff it dyes you water bright green but it kills all sorts of stuff i use it for turtles and my fish. It is something you can always put in your tank to avoid any fungal infections.
 
never heard of it. It just makes me mad i thought i was feeding him just right... he love thos pellet mix and some time carv stuff and when i im bored a gold fish. :( will they keep coming back ill take pic tonight to get a confirm but i think it is. Cuz now it an indent.

Another thing is i see some of u ppl on this site that have had bass longer then me and same feeding style... T.T and they dont get hith or as far as i know.
 
How does hole in the head look like when it first happing? does it take a day to put a hole in its head? i see puss coming out of the holes. What if its just a parasite? Should i just salt bomb him again? or use meds? I took a pic but the water is all weak from adding gravel. I need to do another water change in the morning... here 1 pic more tomorrow.

HITH doesnt produce puss-like thing. HITH's 1st stage will be like a partial skin was peeled of from its face.
 
I cant get a good pic. the thing on his head is too small for my Digi 3.2pix. Sorry but ill just salt the tank for them to leave with... its just him and a koi now.
 
Doesn't look like hith to me, but if you aren't feeding high quality pellets, you should be.
