Bass attack BGK?

3..... 4 inch bass with a 6 inch BGK...Plenty of hiding spots , also in with a Tiger perch.

3 Months living happily then all of a sudden the bass chase the BGK all over the place trying to nip it and i think kill it!. Even going into his tube.
I got him out quick?

how bigs the tank? it might have been alright 3 months ago, but as they grow the bass's territory grows with him.. sounds like you need an upgrade soon..

i would just remove the BGK.
bass grow way too fast and are way more aggressive feeders.
BGK will be outcompeted if not killed.

BGK shouldnt be with aggressive fish. Theyre actually peaceful, but they can be territorial and defend their hiding spot. Its a bad mistake mixing those fish.

Its just doing whats natural for cichla.
BGK are like BK to most predatory fish
