at what size would my bass start to get the coloration and the pattern? here is some pics of it now...i got it as an ocellaris, but the sorce is not always right with id's...it is 3.5" now

Im not an expert but it seems from my own personal experiance you really start seeing changes between 4 and 5 inches . When i got mine at about 2 inches i couldnot wait but did not see big changes until about 4 inches
varies. my temensis had color at 4-5", mono transformed at 10", orino was colorful at 6" but transformed at 10", kelberi also were colorful at 4" but their colors solidified at 10"
I'd say, for you to start seeing the real colors, 8"-10".
