Bass eating stingray pups?

I don’t have any experience with rays but I wouldn’t mix the two. The Ray pups would most likely have trouble getting to the food.
No i mean when they are first born would the bass eat the pups? I have a adult pair of rays that are likely to breed soon. Once born the will go into a pup tank.
I understand I would be cautiously watching them.
I got ya, I can’t say that they wouldn’t try. If I was in that situation I would try to separate the fish before the ray is about to give birth. If you can’t move the bass to another tank I would put a divider in the your current tank when you think the she’s ready.

My experience is that, if it'll fit into it's mouth, it'll probably try to eat it.
