Bass feeding

I have a 220 gallon tank with gravel and a FX5 filter.I have four Orino bass and two Mono bass.I've been feeding been feeding them Gold pellets. Are there any other feeding options and I need true bass owner opions on feeding the the fish live feeders. PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD DIET FOR MY FISH AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THERE BIO LOAD!!

the pellets are your best bet, they have all the nutrients and that fish need so my advice would be keep doing what your doing.
 
Toss in another fx5 to handle the bio load, or run sump. As for diet...shrimp, silver sides, smelt and tilapia are good options alone with pellets...you can't go wrong. As for feeders, you can use them as treats. But it's pretty much your call of how many times a month of week you want to feed your bass feeders.
 
there's nothing wrong with feeders..along as they are treated..i treat minen feed them crushed up hikari pellets..nothing wrong at all
 
lots of large water changes will help with the bioload. But i would also add another fx5 for backup and for a bio boost
