So I'm going bass fishing tomarrow and was wondering if anyone could tell me the lure i should use for where iam going. It is a fairly large open water pond and along the sides the is 1 big fallen try but close to NO plants and was wondering whats a good lure to use for these conditions.
and how can i hook a long bait with more than one hook? like this one...

because a lot of plastic worms dont come like that and sometimes the fish will just nibble at the back and I dont want to buy ones prepackaged like that.
THANK YOU FOR READING

Buzzbait early when the water is calm, spinnterbait/crankbait during the day, buzzbait in the evening.

Plastics might be better but I suck with them so I don't know lol

nope just a pond my friend had stocked full of gar bass and bluegill

One of my favorite lures to use is just a lead head jig with a mister twister. I prefer a 1/32 with a 1.5" tale on it. White usually works best for me but don't know the water quality of the pond. Using a lure like this allows me to target bass and bluegill and I have been successfully at catching both with this lure. Also experiment. If one thing does not work try another to see if it does, you never know. As far as the gar I have no clue. Never tried to catch a gar except in Lake Erie and I just snagged it. Good luck hope this helps. Also whereabouts in Ohio are you from?

I'm from cleveland...willoughby hills specifically. Its a pretty large pond its really murky and brown.

I know its too late but use bright colored and noisy lures in murky water.
