Bass ID 2''er

i got this little guy and just wanted to get a positive ID. The pictures do not show it but when stressed his eyes are really red looking. But normally they are just the orange color. ---------Thanks

Looks like a juvenile large mouth bass black sripe straight across & orange redish eyes

Thanks for the quick replies. I was 99% sure it was a lmb but when searching online for info on Bass with red eyes I kept finding Kentucky bass or spotted bass. And since i am in Kentucky it threw me off.

Juvenile spotted bass have a brightly colored caudal fin, with white or clear margin, black submarginal band, and orangeish basal spots. Otherwise they look very similar to young largemouth like yours.

That's a nice looking one. I will probably be putting them in the tank I'm starting.
