Got 10 of these bass in a pleco trade. The owner said they were azuls but would like a confirmation. Much appreciated.

Excuse the sediment, pulled a piece of wood out before video. The rainbows are dithers. The other 5 bass in another tank. Supposedly farm raised in Brazil.

I'm leaning towards temensis. I don't think I can see any vertical bars between the prominent vert bars. But then again the video is not so clear. Can you take some better still shots?

Ok I think I'm now seeing the other vertical bars faintly between the prominent ones so I'm gonna say Azul too. Also the whitish spots lining the black horizontal line are more like azuls too. Here's an old pic of my 4 inch azul I had last year.uploadfromtaptalk1393321147013.jpguploadfromtaptalk1393321329097.jpg

Thanks for the help everyone. The person I got them from is a friend of mine and serious hobbiest as well. I just wanted to make sure, since these were acquired in a trade for some pricy plecos and I will need to get rid of a few. Very interesting to keep so far, I can see the charm in having them. Btw the rainbow survived and they were all fished out last night. Cheers.

Keep posting pics as they grow! It's fun to see what small Peacock bass start off as, then change as they grow.
