Bass keeping question

From what I have read you can keep them in an aquarium. Hopefully the rules haven't changed since I have a smallmouth bass...
Where did you find that? I read somewhere that you do not need a permit for Sacramento perch since they are an aquaculture fish, but I could be wrong.
Hang on to any receipt showing you bought the fish since all fish caught from a pond have to be killed on site (unless it is your personal pond that you built). Fish bought when it is a captive bred fish are allowed.

I didnt look much into native species and tried to find more about bass. Since bass are introduced, im guessing it is okay to keep them in aquarium.
