Largemouth bass are an extreamly wide ranging species (thanks in part to humans) that are found all over NA and in other continents like Europe and Africa. They can survive in a variety of habitats and water types as well. Yours should be able to adapt to whatever pH you have out of the tap. Don't try to alter it, this can often make things worse. A stable pH is much better then one that fluctuates.
