Bass speed

I have a big hybrid bass and a smaller 6" or so Kelberi. Today the Kelberi took pellets after starving for almost 3 weeks.

He is FAST way faster then my hybrid bass. He's comparable to a clown loach or a balashark,

Does anyone else notice this?

He's not skiddish at all. I'm referring to feeding. I use to feed feeders. I thought the hybrid was fast. But seeing this Kelberi go for a pellet during the tanks feeding frenzy was insane. Actually I barely caught it with my eye he's so quick

That must be it. To give you guys an idea. He steals pellets right from my silver dollars without spooking them. He glides right by the face and steals it right out of there mouth.
