I am sitting here right now as my neighbor blasts his rap from the other side of the wall.

Why are people so damn inconsiderate. I ALWAYS am careful not to annoy my neighbors.

Bass is non-directional and travels through just about anything. Including wood and insulation.

I have knocked on the door, but they dont hear me.
I am powerless. I just have to sit here and listen to

call the cops if you dont get a response from the :( neighbor..........they will most likely ask him to turn it down.......once........and if then if they have to come back....your neighbor will be fined..............possibly even locked up for DC ( -persistant- disorderly conduct)............OR crank up your stereo and show him up!!!!!!!!!!!!! or join the party!!! hahaha!!!:D :)

Well, i'll have the HOA send the owner of the unit a notice as well as their tennant
(i live in a town house complex)

really you just proved the BASS does not travel threw WOOD .. # 1 people who listen to RAP feel a need to turn up the BASS so loud ..that in their car u can actually hear the rusty nuts and bolts falling apart, they turn the Bass up so loud it distorts all lyric being said .. the reason for this it their head is made of WOOD and it can't SINK IN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I plug in my 300 watt Fender 4x12, and rock out. I suck too.
