Where Palm Trees Grow
Ok so I have a pond in my neighborhood that I go to about everyday around 5-6 p.m and would catch a few 5 pounders a day and actually caught one 8 pounder but no they won't bite anymore! I've gone there everyday this week and used Cheese,Some Gulp lures with bass attractant, and a small worm lure I had which they love and nothing! Any suggestions? I'm in Ocala Florida if that helps lol.

Heh. Maybe you've removed all the reliable biters and all that's left in there are the cautious bass. Or it's the heat.
Have you tried floating a big cricket on a medium hook?

This happens if you "over fish" a spot, even if you are releasing it usually will take a few days for them to get back on track. Also make sure you are mixing up lures and presentation or else everything is old news and they will not fall for it.

There is no live bait I can find around here.

dude, I used to live in Dayton beach, and also palm coast FL for many years, there is literally TONS of wild live bait, just look around, under, beneath anything.

Yeah I guess I could go dig around, There is a wooded area right across from my house

Alright I'm gonna try something different before I go with Live Bait, I just put on a big spinner bait that bass love and I'm not sure why I did not try using it yet, But I'm going to go around 7:30 p.m this time so the heat is not an issue either. I saw a huge dead trout which was kind of weird because I never caught a trout in there before but I'm not sure if seeing dead fish is a good thing. I'll update if I get any luck because I want a big bass up on my wall by this week, I'm not gonna keep it, Just take a picture of it and weigh it then send it to the Taxidermist to make me a replica and mount it.

are you the only person fishing this area? I think you should not fish it for a week and then go at it with live bait, you will have super good results.
