I just collected him yesterday and I was wondering if he is a LMB. I am pretty sure but not positive.

If you need to see other pics just tell me or go to the thread "Native Keepers..." in the photo lounge.

Im pretty sure its a lm. It could be a spotted bass, but lms are much more common, and they look very similar when there that small. Either way, its a nice looking fish!

Yep, thats a Largenouth. Enjoy! A great fish to keep. Get him started on pellets.

I know you guys are pretty positive but I thought I would throw these in. I also just love my fish and like to share em.

Great Bowfin, and that is definitely a bass. You will need a big tank, mine grew 13" it's first year.

I saw that on the thread a couple down. I am very excited for him to grow. He is so cool. Never hides and he has only been in the tank for a day! My bowfin still hates me but eats like a beast. I already have him eating frozen beefheart and bloodworms. I don't really have any pellets small enough for him though. I will try flakes later though. I have a pond that he will be going into next year. Most likely him and my bowfin will end up taking out all the other fish so it will probably be just him and the bowfin in a 800 gallon pond.

Sweet there is a little lake not to far from me that has a bunch of those little buggers just hanging out by the shore, We plan to fish it this weekend , they have a bunch of crappy rowboats there but no oars , but I'm still gonna jack one :) oh for the record I just mean take 1 and use it not steal it :)

Yea they are hard little F***ers to catch. I sat there for like 1 hour and only caught one with a dip net.
