about a month or so ago I found some Batrochoglanis raninus, in fact 3 of them and these seem to rare over here. see this thread for details http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?606131-bumblebee-catfish

I remember reading a thread on here by Justarn (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?603210-Finally-found-some!-))about his miss fortune of ordering some raninus and they turned out to be Asian bumble bee cats. Anyway cut a long story short I only wanted 2 and had 3 so I got in touch with Justarn and organised getting one shipped down to him.

well with work and stuff it took a while but today it happened lol

so starting this thread to see how the little beasties get on.

well here is my two, I got to get a rough measurement of 2.75" so plenty of growth in them yet hahaha. soon to be move once i sorted a bigger tank out.

lol glade he arrived safe and sound, now i got to go give mine some food to get them growing so i can update this thread lol.

Oh ment to say i been feeding around 1800hrs when i put the lights on the blue light and they become active. and they eat anything lol

recent measurements around 3" just for info they have about a 1" wide mouth at this size!!!

so I managed to get eyes on one of the cats today ( been hiding alot more since they got their new home) I guessed it at around 4" it is alot bigger than it was for sure, i will be catching to measure in a couple of weeks cause i need to sort some minor stuff out on the tank.

dont seem to be alot of love for these little guys on here dude does there, mine has been in hiding inside my filter box forever now lol, hopeing he has grown some.

Great looking jellies! Looking forward to following this thread!

Let me be difficult for a second. There is an adequate quantity of love. We are watching :)

lol no love needed, I like them and I like to post about them people can choose to read what they wont on forums feed back is always welcome but not needed sure I'll be told if i'm doing something wrong lol.

I did find they went into defensive mode when I had the BGK in there, I don't think he was being aggressive towards the cats just trying to occupy the same hiding areas, even though there was a lot more to choose from he just wouldn't leave them alone. they have taken a few weeks to gain the confidence to come back out, but seem to be getting there again now.
