I'm Where I'm At
Mechanics? Jumped it yesterday and noticed no lights were on. Made sure no lights were on again. This morning it's dead again. I wonder what can be draining it or is it a bad battery?

Get your alternator checked. Thats probably the cause.

yes check alternator

or do you have electric moving seats? in my mom's SUV she has electric seats and her umbrella got wedged and was pushing the button trying to move her seat, caused her battery to go dead over night

thanks, i'll do that. good thing my kids are on winter break. now's the time to break down I guess.

sucks because I was gonna go get new tires and take my kids to play in the snow before it melts. hopefully next week there's still some in the mountains

the driver seat is electrical. I don't think it's that but i'll make sure nothing is there that may cause it

Most big chain autoparts stores will check batteries and alternators for free. Batteries can sometimes be done in the car, most alternators will need be removed first. Either way it's worth a quick trip. Best to start with finding out if battery is good or not.

How old is the battery? If its cold and the battery is old, the cold can drain it too. Are there any new electronics recently installed?

Sent from the black hole that is my world.

thanks guys. i'm gonna call around to see about taking it in

the car's a 2010 and it's socal so it don't get that cold here. no new electronics installed recently

Where is this snow that you were going to take the kids to play in?

up towards big bear. about half way or 1/3 way up. a storm came thru yesterday so hopefully that dropped more snow to last until next week
