Ok guys new scenario!!! my L25 is being VERY VERY submissive!!! they keep rolling and sucking out each others umm pvt areas, and keep going back to a cave inside the back of the driftwood, check out some more pics... possible male and female? there not really causing any inflicting wounds

Those are some really great shots. Those two are beautiful too.

great shots. they are beautiful. they can do harm to each other yes. and plecos dont suck on each other to show affection either. some of those shots are great tho

I am far from new to this i know what they can and can not do. i have been keeping pseudocanthicus for years, i only stated what i was viewing.

I have pseudocanthicus breeding setups in the making

but thanks for your 2 cents

lol, whatever mate, was just answering peanut powers question, but since looking at it thinking maybe he was jking. the rolling around thing, can both be aggression and affection but was just pointing out that it is not a pleco trait, pseudocanthicus or not, to suck on each other for courtship, if they are sucking as opposed to twitching. again though some good shots, like the ones you posted in your other thread when the one was introduced to the other. like it with all the bloodworms being disturbed and flying everywhere amongst it all. duno about them hybridising, but would be interesting, and most probably possible. good luck with that

I know what courting looks like i have spawned a few plecos in the past but NOBODY has spawned pseudocanthicus, thus nobody has witnessed it. even if they did spawn and create a hybrid who wouldn't want one!! hybrid or not its a feat in its self. more then likely it is aggression but being the scarlet is being so submissive i cannot rule out courting:D

i will be starting a few plecos breeding ponds of 1000gals or more by summers end. i will have plenty more adults shipped in of a few variants to get this on its way.

i have been researching and reading and researching and reading as much as possible and have been in contact with a few exporters out of Brazil that have seen first hand of pleco caves along the river banks..

i will not give up intell i have spawned pseudocanthicus
