im interested in a bay snook and found one locally at two inches. I do need him to be 4-5 inches to go in my main display tank. How long would it take to grow one this big in a 10gal tank or nehind a divider in the corner of my 120?

I plan to powerfeed it arrowana sticks and fish fillet.

I've been growing a couple out for a few months and mine grow at a steady rate. It has taken mine about 3 months to go from about 2.5" to 3.5-4". I only have two so other members with a larger group may have different growth rates to compare. I'm currently on a mission to get a large pair of the green morph. Word of advice, Snooks can and will eat smaller fish but contrary to their big mouths they are not built for fighting. Be careful if try to add them to a tank with really aggressive fish, the Snooks can be hurt or killed. They usually will run from confrontation, even from some smaller tankmates.

Mine eat well but don't gorge themselves unless you give them live. Mine don't like raw fish or shrimp yet so the eat nls pellets as a staple. I've had mine also about 3 mos and mine grew from 2" to 3.5". Not too fast.

he's going to go in the top tank in my sig. I need alittle color for it.

seems i can get the red ones in the bigger sizes all the time.
