i just got my 220g up and running tonight. it will be a few weeks before I can afford the heaters. So right now it is running cold. I mean COLD. i am on well water and the well is deep. feels like it's freezing. I'm sure it will take at least a week for 220 gallons to get up to room temp. probably 2 weeks before I can buy the heaters.
Will the BB grow like this for now? Also, what is the best way to get it started? Any particular additive to kick start it that you would recommend?
Anything else that you could recommend for running a fishless cycle that i need to do before adding fish?
