If anyone hasn't seen it yet, you will love it. It's weird to watch scientists freak out over filming a black ghost knife for the first time in wild. I think the documentary is a few years old, but it's sweet. If everyone else HAS seen
it, then nevermind. But it's worth it. :):nilly::popcorn:

yeah, they played it in australia a few months back, very interesting. what about those scavengers from the bottom of the amazon river, not sure how to spell it but it sounds like cantaroazoo...nasty little guys!

I've never seen a documentry based soley on fresh water fish :irked:

You should check it out.

Also, I had a typo in my first post. I should have typed "BBC documentary" not "BBS." I think it's a spin off of the blue planet series. I actually watched it as a special feature on the DVD set.

It's a good doco if you get a chance to see it. Yeah those deep water cats were very cool, I think they were related to candiru but I can't remember. Also I think that one has an irwini in it.

Yea the Candiru. I remember when I first saw that, I thought it was the coolest thing.

I saw it a while ago. It was AMAZING!
