bd question again

Hi all, can the perimeter spotting on a bd pup fade later or wysiwyg? I'm trying to figure out how people grade a pure bd from a bd/leo pup. Is it based on the parents or markings??

On pure BD it primarily stays and is one of the criterias of a quality BD and lower grade BD, on BD/Leos it varies, it can stay or fade.
My male BD/Leo's perimeter spotting is strong and shows no signs of disappearing. Where as my females is all but disappeared.
 
thx for your response. At what stage did your female's perimeter disappear?
